These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of rachelsrose.com (the "Site") and any purchase from Rachel's Rose ("Rachel's Rose," "we," "us" or "our"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About us

Rachel's Rose is an online gift shop based in New York, United States. You can reach us at support@rachelsrose.com for order and customer service questions, or sales@rachelsrose.com for general and sales questions.

2. Eligibility and use of the Site

By using the Site, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority where you live, or that you have the consent of a parent or guardian. You agree not to use the Site or our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, not to interfere with the Site's security or operation, and not to submit false information.

3. Products and descriptions

We try to describe and photograph every product accurately, including sizes, which we list in both inches and centimeters where available. Colors may look slightly different depending on your screen, and handmade or natural materials can vary slightly from item to item. If a product you receive isn't as described, our Refund Policy applies.

4. Prices and payment

  • All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless your local currency is shown at checkout.
  • Every purchase is a one-time payment. We don't charge subscriptions, memberships or recurring fees.
  • Your order total, including the item price, shipping and any applicable sales tax, is shown at checkout before you pay. There are no hidden fees.
  • We accept major credit and debit cards and the other payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers, and we don't store your full card details.
  • Any sale or discount prices reflect real reductions from our regular prices.

Prices and availability may change without notice, but a change won't affect an order you've already placed.

5. Orders

When you place an order, you'll receive an email confirming that we've received it. We may limit quantities, or cancel an order if a product becomes unavailable, if a pricing or description error occurs, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order after you've been charged, we'll refund you in full to your original payment method.

6. Shipping and fulfillment

Our products are fulfilled by trusted supplier and logistics partners. Most items ship directly from partner warehouses outside the United States, mainly in China. Some items ship from U.S. warehouses (noted on the product page), and our candles are hand-poured and shipped in the USA.

  • Processing time: 1 to 3 business days
  • Most orders: 10 to 20 business days after shipping
  • Items marked as shipping from a U.S. warehouse: typically 3 to 8 business days
  • U.S. shipping is free on orders of $50 or more; orders under $50 ship for a $4.99 flat rate

Orders with several items may arrive in separate packages. You'll receive tracking by email when your order ships. Full details are in our Shipping Policy. International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes or fees charged by their country.

7. Returns and refunds

You may return eligible items within 14 days of delivery. Damaged, defective or incorrect items are replaced or refunded at no cost to you. Full details, including how to start a return, return shipping costs and refund timing, are in our Refund Policy.

8. Personalized products

For personalized items, you're responsible for checking the spelling and accuracy of the text you provide, and you confirm you have the right to use it. We may decline personalization requests that are offensive or infringe someone else's rights. Personalized items can't be returned unless they arrive damaged, defective or incorrect.

9. Gift cards

Rachel's Rose gift cards can be used only on rachelsrose.com, don't expire and can't be redeemed for cash except where required by law. Treat your gift card code like cash; we can't replace codes that are lost or used by someone else.

10. Product safety

Always follow the included instructions and safety warnings, especially for electrical, heated, battery-powered and children's products. Supervise children when they use toys and keep small parts away from young children. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

11. Reviews and comments

If you submit a review, comment or photo, you confirm it's honest and that you have the right to share it, and you allow us to display it on the Site and in our marketing. We may remove content that is offensive, misleading or unrelated.

12. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos and images, is owned by or licensed to Rachel's Rose and may not be copied or reused without permission. Product names and brands mentioned for compatibility (for example, phone models) belong to their owners and don't imply endorsement.

13. Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

14. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Except as stated in these Terms or required by law, the Site and products are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rachel's Rose isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our products. Our total liability for any claim won't exceed the amount you paid for the product involved. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

15. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when they're posted on this page and won't apply to orders placed before the change.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
